OpticalOnline Installation

The OpticalOnline remote ordering Java application can be installed, automatically updated and started daily from this web page. OpticalOnline continues to use the inherently secure Java platform and has been digitally signed allowing it to be trusted to have access to your local tracer files and printer.

It is important to ensure your Java Runtime Environment is at Version 1.6.0_01 or higher. Users will only be presented an update link if it is required.

Please note, certain browsers such as Firefox and Netscape are not supported.

The initial installation requires a Username and Password. For demonstration purposes only use: Username = 007015, Password = test. Do not allow OpticalOnline to remember this demo username/password.

Once the installation is complete, the OpticalOnline software will automatically start. Enter a patient's name and select 'No Trace' as the Trace File Option then continue to enter a complete Rx order.

Java Runtime Environment is not up-to-date please update your Java Runtime Environment. After updating useyour browser's back button to return to this page and launch OpticalOnline.

Tracers: Click this link if you need the OOTracer software to interface with your OMA compliant frame tracer. For uncut orders, the OOTracer can provide standard frame shapes and manipulation software for generating trace files.
